A fanzone and fully rigged entertainment venue all in the same space – the bet365 stadium.
The Boothen Quarter at the bet365 stadium opened exclusively to home fans at the beginning of the 24/25 EFL season. Team SHM work with various departments at Stoke City (venue, marketing and the COO) to elevate the match day experience with crafted video, dynamic graphic content and on stage fan engagement, running a full production prior to each home game, all with a view to creating a matchday atmosphere to be rivalled around the Championship.
The large outdoor stage and screen allow us to use a variety of multi-media through our broadcast system to ensure the experience is at the top of its game! From manager interviews, celebrity guest appearances and live bands. Away from game day Team SHM are involved in the analysis of fan feedback, as well as forming part of the team pushing to be some of the best event producers in the Championship!
In the off-season The Boothen Quarter seamlessly transforms into an outdoor concert venue, open air cinema and fan park screening space, with names such as The Twang, Boyzlife and the West End AC/DC tribute tour taking the stage. Here Team SHM provide the AV crew as well as the critical role of Venue Manager / Creative event lead working alongside tour managers to ensure all productions are top quality.
As well as delivering content creation, live video to screen, sound technicians etc in order to facilitate the various productions. Kirsty, our CEO, works directly with the Head of Venue and the clubs Chief Operating Officer to explore business development of the space, making it a business viable addition to the clubs venue portfolio.
In it’s first season, The Boothen Quarter contributed to Stoke City FC’s recognition of being named the EFL family club of the year.
